Come and enjoy appetizers, a cash bar, a silent auction filled with donations from local businesses and supporters, door prizes and some friendly competition!

Community Justice Inc. will be hosting its fourth annual Summer Fundraising Event to support CJI’s efforts to Bridge the Gap to Justice in our community. CJI is a private, non-profit general interest law firm providing legal services to those with limited means. The event will be held on August 8, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7p.m at the Brink Lounge.  A $10 donation at the door is suggested.

The public is welcome but there are sure to be questions for our attorney supporters! CJI is encouraging a donation of $20 per person to raise funds for our neediest clients. Team sizes of 3-5 people are recommended. We are happy to find teams for individual registrations. Pizza will be provided and a cash bar is available. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams! Round out the evening with live music in the Brink Lounge.

On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, the public is invited to the Dane County courthouse to learn how the judicial system works, how the public’s rights are protected, and what legal resources may be available. Circuit court and appellate court judges, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, court staff, and citizens will present short informative programs about the role and work of the courts, mock trials, and guided courthouse tours.   The Dane County Bar Association and Dane County’s Circuit Court Judges are hosting this annual open house for Law Day from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
